Why is this movie so criminally underrated?

Why is this film so damn under the radar? I keep looking for horror films to watch and I found this movie in an obscure imdb horror watch list. I must say that I *beep* loved this movie.

This movie deserves so much recognition than it actually gets.

A 6.0+ score on IMDb for a horror movie is actually quite good. 

If you liked this one, definitely give Grave Encounters 2 a shot. I actually liked that one more, and the ghosts are actually pretty damn creepy!
