This is a film Australia should be proud of. A profound, moving and intelligent film full of rich scenery and strong performances. Makes a fantastic and moving statement about human nature and the consequences we have on the other creatures who share our environment often to their detriment. Worth checking out. Willem Dafoe is fantastic.

Visually it's a feast... and the story was engaging and well-acted
I've seen other posts on here saying it's "boring"... i mean seriously? People's attention span these days is disgusting... people can't seem to handle a film without a heap of dialogue
I think it's because a film like that requires your attention... and everyone these days seems to multi-screen all at once... so instead of investing themselves into sitting there and watching the story, they're too busy getting on imdb to make a post about how boring it is
I agree. It's an excellent film. Willem is great and his character and those around him are all very engaging.
It treats the subject matter very well with a profound heartfelt ending that gives much to consider.
It's very well made, sumptuously shot with wonderful accompanying music. A real find on Netflix and a reminder of the joy in taking chances on films that you might not have heard about.
