This book was superb. From the synopsis, it sounds like they've completely missed the point. All I could think while reading it is how wonderful it would be to see it adapted into a good film. Oh well...I'll still have the book.

I don't think that you can make any assumptions about the movie based upon an synopsis that could have been written by anyone. But, so much of the novel takes place in James' head and that is always hard to capture on film, so I hope they don't muck it up.

I haven't read the book, but if it is good there will be more than one valid way to respond to it, and if it isn't, it really doesn't matter what they do.
