Aw, guys, he is just a kid...

okay, first and foremost, I'm neither a massive fan of his or a hater of his. I do laugh at the random trolling jokes that people make and I'm 20 years old...so I'm wondering why the hate?

He is just a kid who had talent and wanted to share it to the world. And when I say talent, I'm referring to when he was 12 and singing without all that auto-tune stuff. It must be pretty damn hard with a young single mother growing up and he seemed like he had hope and channeled that through his...voice (I was going to say music, but...lets just say Im iffy about calling it that)

Watching this movie made me realize that he is just a kid with a voice, that is all. He gave all those fans just something to look up to, and just saying, he isn't the worst role model out there.

This kid actually made me proud of being Canadian. He has good morels and he is a polite teen. When I was his age, I never had the determination he had. So I give him props.

I honestly feel bad for this kid. It seems like half of the world either loves the *beep* outta him, and hates the *beep* outta him. I'm in the middle. I don't like his music, but I like what he represents. Is anyone else kinda in the middle as well?

reply

Good morals? Really? He opposes abortion, even for rape victims, because "everything happens for a reason". If rape happens for a "reason" in his book of morality, he needs to buy a new book. He's cocky, arrogant, and unpleasant.

well I'm in total agreement with ollie501. Bieber makes me sick

reply

I agree with ollie. Rape happens for a reason? If I had a kid who got raped and this jag-off would come to me and say "dont worry, it happened for a reason"... I'd hit him in the head with a f'ing shovel I would!

reply

And veyr justiably you used "rape? well, that's sad, but everything happens for a reason"-Justin Bieber. And you admire this jagoff in your sig.:) And I would do what you said you did in your 2012 reply!

My God, so you hate hate this kid because he disagrees with you? How is this rational, or adult-like behavior? I don't like his music, it's just not my, uh, cup of tea, although I know a lot of people who do like it. I'm happy for him, however. He had a dream and he's living it now, and I'd be happy for anyone who could say that, let alone someone as young as he is. For those who hate him, how does he concern you? Seems to me like these people need to grow up. Go read a book under a tree or something instead of getting worked up over a child.

reply

Do not defend him bitch, he is arrogant, cocky, a douchebag, scum, his music sucks and he doesn't write his songs. He is the WORST thing to happen to music ever! Lets go down the line of how much trouble and crap he has done in his short 3 years.
1. Seen his record, and since he turned 18 he has over 70 tickets on his rap sheet. Including an assault charge, spitting in the face of a neighbor and vulgar language, and resisting arrest.
2. Against abortion, including rape victims, saying it happens for a reason.
3. Disrespecting the Chicago Blackhawks
4. Driving 120 mph in a neighborhood, and having Keyshawn Johnson furious over it.
5. Disrespected Anne Frank
6. Spat on his own fans
7. Kicking a photographer
8. Late to his own concert
9. Piracy, drug use, underage drinking, etc.
Anyone who defends this little punk is just as bad as he is. This is why a lot of kids end up disrespecting authority, getting pregnant, and doing nothing with their lives, and having him as a role model sickens me. My daughter is not allowed to watch MTV, VH1 or listen to any mainstream pop or rap music today, and I make her focus on music like Zeppelin, Floyd, and Prince, artists who are actually good to listen too. He is everything that's wrong with music and society today, and I cant wait till he crashes and burns, cause he deserves it, and I wont feel sorry when I see him on celebrity rehab with Dr. Drew!

His songs are played every day where I work. That is enough for me the hate his lousy guts. I wish he didn't exist.

reply

He does? That's really gross if true.

reply

Totally agreed with the original poster. I'm in the middle. Not a fan of his music, but he seems like a good kid with a bit of talent.

He's 18 now, so no kid anymore. We can *beep* him up legit now.

I agree OP.

I'm in my 30's. My 11 and 5 year old sons came home from school talking about Justin Beiber. When I watched the documentary, I didn't see ONE thing that could be talked negatively about him.

It's a tween thing to hate on him. Anything that's "too popular" is going to get hate.

People keep saying he's not talented. Ummm, he as playing the drums, the piano and the guitar. And, who was he singing right in front of??? oh yea, USHER.

reply

Are you people serious? Justin Bieber is a tool and a dumbass who thinks he's everything and no one is as good as he is. Hell, i agree with the second guy to post; "rape happens for a reason..." How stupid do you have to be to say that?? Plus, he rented an entire basketball stadium just to watch a movie with his girlfriend for a day; that's just idiotic.

"Cut it off! Cut it off!"

reply

To be perfectly honest, I have no idea whether this tool can sing or not and I honestly couldn't care less, because I don't consider singing to be a noteworthy talent. It's just a performance. Like dancing or running. It requires absolutely no intelligence to achieve.

It obviously doesn't otherwise the Miley Cyruses, the Katy Perrys and the Lady Gagas of the world would be standing on the street corners where they belong, rather than flailing their bodies before millions of puppets for seven figure salaries.

And I respect the arts far too much to insult it by labeling these people talented artists. I even strain to call them talented performers. A far more accurate label would be intellectual rapists. Since, ultimately, this aspect of their actions will far outweigh what momentary entertainment value they provide.

My fervid disgust spawns from the sole purpose of these puppets: to churn out two global atrocities:

1) Mindless, inane, repetitive, unsophisticated music
2) The commercialization of an entire generation

Millions of impressionable idiots listen to this crap and think it's music for no truly legitimate reason outside of the fact that every other impressionable idiot listens to it. Needless to say, they act upon this common ignorance.

They purchase their cds, and their hand bags, and their notebooks, and their dildos. An entire multi-million dollar industry has spawned from simply plastering the faces of these *beep* morons on the backpacks of schoolgirls.

This is truly a monumental catastrophe is you just think about the scope of it all. An entire generation has been lost to a series of border-line retards and their corporate overlords.

reply

If this is a 'monumental catastrophe' according to you NOW, then what the frack was the rise of all of the pop music of the late 60's and early-to-mid 70's? The destruction of all existence? Michael Jackson and the Jackson 5, Bobby Sherman, Donny Osmond and the Osmond Brothers, The Partridge Family, The Cowsils, David Cassidy, The Bay City Rollers, as well as other pop bands also had the same popularity, screaming girl fans, and merchandise way back when, and you weren't bitching like the spoiled baby you are now-what gives? Why not like what you like and listen to it instead of letting pop music's popularity make you miserable? Why not make an effort to look for, buy/download the music you want instead of feeling oppressed because pop music is more popular than before? That's what I'm doing, and that's what you should be doing, too. Not spending time hating Justin Bieber, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Nicki Minaj, etc. because they're popular.

reply

Haha. Well said, solex!

reply

I had to watch my 9 year old girl cousin the other night here at my house, and she brought this damn movie over to watch on our tv. She wanted me to watch it with her, so being a nice cousin, I took a deep breath and watch it with her. I nearly drove my damn fist through the screen when it was over. Thats why this movie sucks. And I can't stand Justin Beiber now because of that night.

reply

He is poisoning our music industry, and now our film industry. Together with douches like one erection and miley clytorus they should be chopped up into dogfood. no mercy!

reply

The only thing people should care about really is his music, which is truly awful. There is still fantastic music being released, but artists such as Beiber Cyrus, Bruno Mars, Katy Perry, and the sell-out Eminem get the spotlight and that's just not cool
