I am a sucker for seeing Docs - they are my favorite film genre.
I know of Mr. Shearer's work from having seen him in other films - He's hilarious as a comedic actor. I have read where he's quite capable as a director, as well. Good for him!
When I first saw the trailer for this documentary, in my apprehensive thought I saw this as yet another "Let's play the George W Bush blame game AGAIN..."

I didn't mind the trailer. I think Shearer's fairly liberal. I thought I was going to go to see this flick, but, it showed for only ONE NIGHT where I live and I wasn't able to go.
I am hoping to see the movie more widely screened, and soon.
The more Ken Loach films I try to see, the more I think they need subtitles!
Youre a little sensitive huh? No one completely blamed Bush for this ever, but most agree he sure made it worse (in the response to it) But the overall fault of it is certainly not his, and I dont think any liberal ever suggested as much
