Why the hell it only be shown in such few countries? whats the problem anyone knows?
are they ditching will ferrell? they dont like this kind of movies, or mexico or something ?
I found it ridiculous my local cinema was promoting it to death for months with trailers, posters and I think even cut-outs. Then around the release date I check the schedule: nothing.
I tweeted them asking about it but got no reply. Charmed.
It's obviously because the Spanish-language soap operas that the film is a parody of are unique to America and Mexico.
As a Brit, I can guarantee that the vast majority of people in this country wouldn't even begin to understand what the joke was if they saw it and we're one of the countries that's most closely linked to America's culture and most aware of things such as their TV.

It's a shame when we import US shows that half the population doesn't "get" or think is worthwhile but we ignore movies from one of the bigger names of contemporary comedy.
