so recently my friend recommended me this and immediately i found myself thanking him as i was completely unaware of this gem of a movie LOL.

I normally keep up with comedies like this, being a fan of snl for a long time and ferrell's humor;not for everyone but if you appreciate 'silly' u know he's the man.

so we're watching this on netflix and my friend starts telling me when he first watched this, he thought this was supposed to be a spanish drama with will ferrell trying out his non-comedic style of acting totally committed by starring in a spanish speakinh role in a spanish film etc. LMAO.

so i was cracking some jokes at him for a bit then we started watching the movie. and then I realized. for ppl that arent too familiar with will ferrell and/or snl style of movies/humor, you could have totally taken this as a serious western..LOL

check the cast, the co-stars from Y Tu Mama Tambien ? LOL arent they like the brad pitt/johnny depp of Mexico ? LOL also Christina Aguilera sings the theme song for the movie during the opening credits. [which is pretty good lol]

so i was like to my friend, "what part of the movie gave it away that its a comedy ?" He's like "the part when that tiger first came out.." LOL

To me what gave it away is when Will and his friends are coming back from the calf herding seing Onza killing a guy and they are hiding behind fake rocks and the background drawing panels dont match. I knew something is fishy and then when one of the guys says quite - there are bottles breaking and i knew its a parody-comedy.
