My wife is a chicana

I wouldn't think so. The movie does not make fun of Hispanics, or their culture, but simply at the low budget style of movies and television that often come out of Mexico. Big difference.

I'm a Chicano and I had fun with this movie. One thing about us chicanos is that most of us don't get offended over a lot of things.
