Hmm... cutting edge. Yet it's "infused" with (I think this means "has a soundtrack of") hip-hop, which isn't exactly a fresh or new movement in music. That they used the neologism "dramedy" is embarrassing and problematic. Dramas are not devoid of comedy, and comedies are not devoid of drama. Calling it a "dramedy" is hedging, fear of committing to one or the other, and a sign of weak directing.
Featuring the latest teenage bands and dance crews is probably the best reason to stay away. Wait until they get seasoned and more skilled. Latest never means greatest.
