I'm not surprised by how average it is and also with it's likeness to Family Guy. Is it supposed to be a comedy?

how is it like family guy? i enjoyed this show alot. while not breaking any originality in story or characters the writing of the jokes are funny to me.

Has anyone in this family ever even seen a chicken?

I enjoyed the pilot; very funny with originality... the pilot is probally my favorite episode yet! =)
