Reminds me of David Lynch

This film reminded me of a David Lynch film but not nearly as satisfying to watch unfortunately.

This film's biggest flaw is the complete lack of suspense. Things just happen and there's no sense of urgency, there's no suspense or surprise, it all just sort of drools onto the screen.

Years after I graduated from college I still had dreams where a major paper (which I hadn't even started) was due the next morning and if I couldn't finish it in time I'd fail out of school. I had similar dreams where I would get lost on the way to a particular class and couldn't make it in time to take the final exam.

I wonder if Mysteria is trying to express a similar sort of anxiety over being a writer with a fast approaching deadline?
