Tracee Ellis Ross & Malcolm-Jamal Warner have no chemistry.

Tracee Ellis Ross is still playing her 'Joan' character from 'Girlfriends'.

Did Warner come into this project late? He was on 'The Wendy Williams Show' yesterday talking about it but I don't see his name in the IMDB credits as an actor or producer.

Neither of the teens playing the siblings have comedic timing. Not that there was much to laugh at. Comes off as a reboot of 'The Cosby Show' but without the charm or the laughs.

Anyone notice how often Tracee's hairstyles changed from one scene to the next in the first episode last night?? What's that about?

I agree with TER seeming to reprise her role as Joan. She was a bit too neurotic and insecure regarding that situation with Robin Givens (classic Joan.) And I was also thrown off by MJW attempting to be Cliff Huxtable Jr. I had such high hopes for this show because it's way past time for a positive show featuring educated black people. I'm just hoping it will get better.....

The writing is horrible. You can tell Malcom and Tracee are not even feeling it. They must have signed on before a script was produced.. They are trying but you can't work magic on a lackluster script.
