A Nice Spin-Off

First let me say that I enjoy this show. It's nice to see a nice black show where morals and quality are key. I know America won't like hearing this but there is a large chunk of the black community that will identify with this show, the media just doesn't like to feed that side.

Also, the episode with Dawn Lewis is an EXCELLENT idea for a spinoff with her Jacob and the cousin. A show that mixes the grit of Good Times and the Hope of Cosby.

Lastyl, does anyone know the name of the actor who played the cousin?

I'm sorry, but I don't see a spin off for this show, or think this show will last pass 3 seasons.

This episode was clearly a pilot for a spin-off. I liked the kid alot and hope that BET puts his show on next year's schedule.
