Something I noticed

This was a very emotional documentary, with horrible scenes of dead/dying people, that were smartly interwoven in the main stories of the people that were portretted.
But the thing I noticed: Everyone you hear in this documentary says that they hope there will be a revenge for all the horrible deeds of the Israeli, that they will be punished.
There was literally no-one who said that perhaps progression towards peace or a state of non-violence would be the right choice.
Of course, I can understand that if your whole family is blown to bits that this isn't the first thing you think about, but it would be something you could think of when time progresses right? I think we can all agree that more aggression against Israel is not going to be helpful for the people of Gaza.
Don't get me wrong: I'm not involved in either party in any way, I'm just trying to interpret the scenes I've seen in this documentary in a respectful way.
Please tell me your opinion on this issue.

Peace??! In the face of dead and dying children! When both sides are on equal ground maybe, just maybe, they can talk peace. Wouldn't you cry for revenge carrying your dead child through bombed out streets?! Israel is a Zionist state that must be brought under control. There is no justification for killing innocent children - ever.
How can you expect them to talk about peace when the bombs are blowing their children to pieces???? Come on!!
Israel is pure evil!

I'd probably do everything in my power to make them pay if it ever happened to me. But what he says is true, it has to end sometime. Only fools would pass on that hate throughout the bloodline. Because it will, until someone says *beep* no and breaks the circle.

Because im god, are you god to question my answer?

After what the fascist pigs did, a certain anger despair and desire for revenge is natural, butchered babies make people feel like that. It's what the bUShA's have been doing with their reign of terror, since the Saudis did the New York kamikaze after all.

Remember that the people in this film are not people in positions to determine the course of action that the Palestinian people as a whole should take. They are just the average, regular people who were caught up in the violence. Just to put it in to perspective, if you went around with a Camera in New York talking to people a couple of months after 9/11, you would hear endless calls for bloody vengeance (hell, you may still even hear these a decade later). You would not be talking to the people in a position to enact such vengeance, however. The film concerns itself with the goings about of the average Gazan after cast lead, and yeah, the opinions of the average Gazan after such an event are not likely to be very "turn the other cheek".

On 9/11, Bin Laden orchestrated the deaths of over 3,000 people on US soil and we've been blowing up people for over 10 years. In Iraq alone, over 700,000 deaths! 2 countries - Iraq and Afghanistan - have been turned into a war zone with no end in sight.

If the US sees this as a justification, what do you the average poor family living like prisoners at the hands of the Israelis will think of them.

It's a shame the US continues to back Israel because they are supporting genocide. It's a shame the one thing Israel has in common with the Nazis is how to commit genocide.
