First post? Surprised becasue this is above average

This was a wellmade film, decently acted within it's limitations.
The cockney-geezer-thug-laddish films have become a bit of a cliche the last few years but I thought Turnout was quite good. It didn't dwell on any violence or wasn't too laddish leering and braggish but concentrated on George who just wants to make a bit of money to see him and his girlfriend go on holiday.
His mates are all charlie-snorting, laddish wasters and he tries to sort himself out.
It's not exactly Citizen Kane but it was better than crap of it's genre like Green Street.
I actually preffered this over Football Factory.
Also it had the great Peter Ferdinando in it, a ridiculously under-used and underrated actor who, to me, is one of the best British actors around. He was phenomenal in Tony(2009) and has great presence in this.
