Swap golf with race car driving and you have Pixar Cars.

Besides from the obvious difference between two (such as animation and the type of sport etc); the storyline is exactly the same.

Thoughts anyone?

I was thinking the same thing... at one point do Lighting McQueen and Doc Hollywood show up in this movie?

Otterprods, to keep those aquatic Mustelidae in line.

Good to see I wasn't the only one who thought this!

yup, only with doc hollywood and cars we get a solid ending.

in this film they leave us guessing at the very end during the big game and then direct you to a website which is nothing more then a excerpt from the authors new book and theres absolutely no resolution to the whole relationship angle between luke and sarah. after all they are not a couple thats a pretty damn obvious..

there better be a complete scene or deleted scene on the dvd when it comes out! otherwise unless you want another christian film to sit next to your left behind, fireproof and omega code sitting on your dvd shelf, this dvd can stay in the stores.

Really?!! That sounds like the lamest darned thing I've heard in a while! Urgh, what a cop out. :P

Yeah, another thread "seven days in deja vu" says the same thing. http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1699147/board/nest/181278714 -- Cars, Doc Hollywood, a handful of other "guy who is burnt out but doesn't want to face it ends being FORCED by 'FATE' to take a break/detour, and 'find himself again' at the hands of a wise old mentor who sees himself in our hero..."
