Feel dirty after watching this

Not only because I feel ripped off and manipulated by the braindead Christian messaging, but also because two actors I like, Robert Duvall and Melissa Leo, signed on to this piece of trash and I can only guess they did so because they were paid a lot of filthy lucre by one of those child-abusing religious institutions backing this project. The only thing that kept me watching was (a) I was under the illusion this was a horror, and (b) Deborah Ann Woll's goofy hotness. Now, time for a shower to wash away that Christian filth.

It's funny that when a film is made that sends a message that there's more to life than just people and action, it gets labeled Christian. It's philosophical, but to call it Christian sounds knee-jerk to me. Movies that make you think about something bigger than we are should be applauded, not laughed at. I guess people are all about eye-candy anymore. Sad.

No one was forced to watch this or any other move. That is what the Off button is for on the remote. There is room for every kind of movie out there for every taste so why can Christian or other uplifting movies have their place on the stage?
