I loved this film!

I can't understand why it got such negative reviews. Sure, it's a little wacky but I've seen far, far worse.

I thought all the main actors - Kristin, Annette, Matt, Darren and Christopher were great and the characters were interesting, with Zelda, The Bousche and Lee being my particular favorites.

Critics can be so fickle, I'd watch it again in a heartbeat, in fact, I will be soon. I only rented it the other night but I'll be buying the DVD for sure.

Don't let the negative reviews make up your mind for you. Give it a chance, it's a good little indie film.

I don't like bashing movies for the fun of it, but I didn't enjoy this movie.

I love Kristen Wiig and she had her moments in this, but I really didn't get the point of the story and thought it was all a bit of a mess.

I skipped this when it first came out, largely because of negative reviews. Then I saw Hateship Loveship and the Skeleton Twins and I began to take Wiig seriously as an actor. So I had to go back and give this one a try. Compared to those other two films, this one is inferior but I did chuckle at least a half dozen times.

Well, I wouldn't necessarily say I "loved" this movie, but I do agree with you that it doesn't deserve all the negativity it's received.

I enjoyed watching it. It was quirky, cute, and I got some good chuckles.

Now talk about a terrible comedy that got great reviews watch The Heat! That movie was *beep* terrible! Didn't laugh once....the whole time I just kept wondering how anyone could manage to make Melissa McCarthy so unfunny.

"Maybe you could alphabetize me sometime. Just remember 'I' comes before 'U'".

I agree!! When I first watched it I think I expected a zany comedy but I was pleasantly surprised this film really had an emotional side and in the end you really understand why the mom did what she did, quirky as she was.
I'm far from Ebert but in my book this was a pretty good movie!

I enjoyed this movie so much I'm questioning whether we even watched the same flick.

This film is very funny and entertaining from beginning to end! The characters are delightful, I even enjoyed watching Imogene's horrible friends who are terrible to her.

This is why I never listen to reviewers. I do read them but I see a movie in spite of what they say. Usually end up liking them.

You're so right. Just saw it and loved it. Nothing over-the-top sensational, but believable and very well done. The entire cast were great.

I liked it too! kind of Woody Allen's vibe :P
