Very Excited!

I just finished the book Delirium by Lauren Oliver and immediately got on imdb to see if someone had purchased the rights to do the movie, and it looks like they have. If anyone involved with the production reads the message board here, I implore you to please do a good job. There is no need to cut things out or change the story, it's great how it is and thank you for taking on the project!

I really liked it. In fact, I actually miss it, which sounds silly. I'm trying to find things to compare it to for you. Have you read Hunger Games? It reads easily like that, not kiddish at all, just makes you want to keep reading. I haven't read the Twilight series, just listened to the first one on audio book and have seen the movies, and I think Delirium sends a MUCH BETTER message about love to it's readers, which I assume are mostly females. I'm not sure it is a book guys will enjoy as much, but maybe, the concept is pretty interesting. Hope you like it!

An excellent read that appeals to both sexes is Divergent by Veronica Roth. I think this is going to be a movie also.

I loved Divergent and Insurgent. I liked them better than this series.

I loved Delirium and Divergent, but I don't think they can really be compared. The read I enjoyed the most was definitely Divergent, but it's Delirium I keep thinking about. I'm really exited for both movies, and both endings! :)

Divergent, The Hunger Games, Delirium, all my favorites. But Delirium was simply amazing and had unexpected tear-jerkers haha. I can't wait for the movie. Psyched!

I really hope this one gets made. It is one of my absolute favourite books and I think it would make a pretty good movie adaptation.
Don't see why anyone would compare Delirium to Twilight though.. I don't see much similarity.

I have been lucky enough to read a proof of the second part called Pandemonium and it is just as great as Delirium.

I'm excited to see what they do with the films. However I do not want it to end up like Twilight!!!

Her first book 'Before I Fall' is also really good. Mix between Mean Girls and Groundhog Day. Incredibly touching!
