This really doesn't seem to have anything except the title in common with the beloved children's book. That really disappoints me.

i totally agree. this was my favorite book as a kid. I remember almost every detail of it. And essentially none of what is in the trailer is in the book. :(
shareI would love to see Carrell and Garner together in a movie, although the trailer makes it look like a generic kids movie.
shareI don't really judge the film based on its trailer or it's title but this time, the title gave it away....for me to judge anyways.
