15 bucks for a ticket for movie that is only 1 hour and 21?
Sounds like a rip off.
sharewho the heck pays to see this in the theater?
plus I saw Gone Girl a few days ago and it only cost me $8
A beer for the man with the beard!
Surely a matinee isn't that much.

You gotta time it and at least see another movie for that price. I always see at least 2 movies for the (rip-off) admission price! But, I do buy popcorn and soda to make up for my petty larceny. Heh-heh-heh!
shareAre you sure about that? That sounds like the price for a 3D IMAX movie.

At my AMC theater an adult evening ticket is now $12.29. You can buy tickets from Costco (which I am a member of) for a discount, but those tickets don't count towards the AMC Stubs rewards, so all in all, I end up paying the regular price. I do buy Regal tickets from Costco if I go there though. Also, AMC has pre-noon matinees that are only $7 which is a fantastic deal!

Lucky I live next to a theater with insane low prices. $5 for anything before 5pm M-F and all day Tuesday, and $7.50 matinees on the weekend. I've spent no more than $11 on a movie at my theater for late shows.

Sounds like your theater is a ripoff.
"Weird is just a side effect of being awesome."
My AMC has 4.99 matinees and 7.49 prices after six. They started a new new system where they charge lower ticket prices, but now add taxes to the concessions.
