It made me mad that it's a "happy ending" but he really had no friends. Even his "best friend" said he wasn't going. So for me, I was mad that they're feeding and entertaining a bunch of people who weren't his friend at all.
shareIf that's really true, then Alexander's really in for some heartache. Especially when you consider that this day is probably the ONLY good day the kid's ever going to see. If the wish only holds true for 24 hours, then his luck ends at the stroke of midnight.
Come the next morning, his family's going to be on top of the world again and Alexander's life is going to go back into the crapper.

Oh that's sad to think that it would just go back to normal. Perhaps worse with TWO working parents with even less time for him.
shareSo I give it a week's time. He'll have no friends, no girlfriend, his family will go back to ignoring him, and he'll most likely turn to drugs to cope.
