Steve Trying To Do 'The Small Man In a Box' Voice

I loved the last scene of last night's episode, where Steve was trying to do the voice. I thought it was a clever, subtle way of showing that Steve, who seems to look down on Rob, perhaps deep-down knows that Rob is more talented and that he (Steve) merely 'got lucky' with the big roles and Hollywood lifestyle.

I know a cracking owl sanctuary!

Rob is not more talented than Steve, he's a broader (dumber) comedian. Steve is probably trying to do the voice so he can feel more secure in his view of himself as a more artistic comedian. If he perfected it he would only use it to belittle Rob, in a one-upsmanship sort of way. Steve is jealous of Rob's freedom to relax and just be silly, but in no way does he think Rob is more talented.
