Where did you see it ?

Where did you see this film ? It does not seem to be getting a screening in the US or UK cinemas. I saw it in Kuwait yesterday afternoon. I was the only person in the 400 seat cinema, mind you, it is Ramadan and nobody comes out until after 8.00 in the evening. I enjoyed the film very much, especially the visuals which reminded me of my time in the Kazakhstan villages in those wonderful wooden houses, beautiful inside but no running water (quite a struggle dragging a wheelbarrow of water through deep snow from the hand pump in the street). Simple formula. If I like the film it is a good film and certainly this was much better than all those recent super hero movies with action flying all over the IMAX screen and nobody having any idea what is happening.

Saw it in Munich on the occasion of the Fantasy Filmfest - I didn't want to watch it at first as it sounded brutal. However, I upon seeing a preview, I changed my mind and was quite impressed by the story and the acting.

Now playing instantly on Netflix. Wahoo!! Deadly Code is so much better than Hitman (which is what it's being compared to) on every level. Hitman seemed to me like one of the fluffed out super hero movies with action flying all over the IMAX screen. I actually saw Hitman in the theatre and cannot now recall what exactly happened. Character development is soooo much better in Deadly Code. I LOVED it but wish I understood the motivation behind the attack on the girl. I have to think there were others/peer pressure involved.

Watched it yesterday on a DVD I borrowed from the library. Thought the motivation was jealousy and anger, taking it out on someone defenseless.
