Any news on how they're releasing this?

Was over on the unofficial Seagal forums and people are saying this may not be
on TV but just a collection of serveral films straight to DVD. Such as this being the first film comprised of what would have been a 2-parter episode:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/True-Justice-DVD/dp/B003YXZHI0/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1289644246&sr=8-1

Then others are saying it's going both to TV and DVD at the same time with 45 min long 2 part episodes on TV and 90 min movies on DVD (both parts in one)

Then also I've heard that it's just going to TV in 2011 and the link is the first 2 episodes as a promotional taster.

So confused!!!

Can anyone help me out?

And IMDb needs to update this: It's called "True Justice" now.

i had no idea it was set for a dvd release in the uk, thanks for that link! walker texas ranger had an individual pilot release as a feature movie (one riot one ranger) so thats probably what they're doing with this

They should release it on DVD overseas in Europe and they should air it on TV in the USA. SPIKE TV should acquire the right to air these episodes. SPIKE TV plays a lot of Steven Seagal movies. I hope that SPIKE TV shows Southern Justice. You would think that some channel would want to show Seagal's new show because of the success of LAWMAN.

Just heard it's no longer gonna be a TV series but a set of 6 films - the first out in december

Randomly, I found this film/ show advertised on Play.com and had no idea what it was - so I came to IMDB to find out. It has a different title but it's the same thing. The descriptions and character names match up. According to Play, it will be released to 27th December in the UK. Use the link below.

Last I heard they couldn't find a single network (basic cable, pay cable or free to air network) that wanted to buy and run the series, so that's why they are re-editing the episodes into 6 direct-to-dvd 'movie' releases.

There's not a lot of news out there about this though, so things may have changed since then...

Reelz Channel picked up the series back in early December for US audiences. Looks like the show will now air on that network in Spring 2012. So, finally, this show is going to be on the air. I doubt it'll be that great, but, it is nice to see Reelz getting into the original programming game, even if it is a pre produced series. Who knows, if it does well enough on the network, it could pave the way for more shows on that network.

Also, Reelz is the network that aired the The Kennedys mini series that history dropped.

Hey guys the Deadly Crossing movie is different from the TV series. It is the same character (Elijah Kane) but different scenarios and new footage. The movie comes out on the 14th of May at Redbox's everywhere. It's ONLY at Redbox or so I'm told.

It's supposed to be as good or nearly as good as Under Siege so I can't wait!
