4.4 IMDb rating?

That's a pretty low rating, however I need to see some episodes first. It looks good regardless if the IMDb!!!

Show is horrible. I can't believe they still do reruns of it? Honestly, this is crappy even by Seagal standards. His acting is so wooden and the fight scenes are cringeworthy. They look so lame, like they went through the motions in slow-mo and then sped up the footage. Dude can barely move, looks like an arthritis case now (no offense to those of you who suffer from arthritis.)

Let's get on to the actual premise. Ok, they're cops. The newbie girl is a stereotypical dumb perky blonde who is always getting in over her head. The black haired girl is the token smarmy bitch. There's the token buzzcut dude with a bad temper. There's the token black guy with a level head (eh?).

I couldn't make it past ep 2. Let's talk about the gunplay here. First of all, these guys are supposed to be trained and they're only supposed to take shots necessary to pacify. Yet, here they are shooting recklessly in the street, and Seagal does some "heroics" by SHOOTING OUT OF THE WINDOW OF HIS *beep* TRUCK. Are you serious? In the second episode, they storm a building, all guns blazing, with hardly any gear on. Jeeze, if they were playing paintball they'd be the FIRST idiots to get hit.

The humor sucks, Seagal's lines are unfunny. Apparently he's supposed to be a total chick magnet... But seriously, let's be honest - he's out of shape and he certainly ain't the looker he once was. He can barely form a coherent sentence. I *beep* you not, in the second episode, he can't even get rhetoric right. He's giving some monologue (which I guess was super lame and not insightful since I can't remember a bit of it ... growing up maybe?) and the new girl makes a agreeable comment... he says "You can say that again?" like a question and not a rhetorical statement. I was laughing my ass off, like, what?

Anyway, I'd just steer clear of this steaming pile. If you really want Seagal, look up his old movies. Old, fat Seagal is NOT interesting, and among the slew of cop dramas today, this one doesn't even crack the top 50.

Its a jungle out there.
