No it actually didn't because the film itself didn't focus on the food but on the way that it was manipulated before being presented to the customer. I would have loved to have seen A LOT LESS of the chef team sketching,debating and arguing about potential recipes, and a lot more of the buzzing restaurant, the plates as presented to the customers, the customers' reactions. None of that was shown.

That nut oil floating on top of water "cocktail" looked GROSS. I found it humorous that the owner was surprised that no diners were finishing it. I also thought the "vanishing ravioli" looked okay until they dipped it into water and it looked like a big chunk of snot. The pine seedling just killed me. "You're not supposed to eat the stem." Um, okay.

I guess I shouldn't judge before I've tasted some of this stuff, but they were just so stuffy with their minty ice bowl and mushroom extracts.
