Lucas Cruikshank or whatever would have made a much better Timmy

He looks and sounds more like him, and his acting style and style of humor is more similar to Timnmy. Drake Bell just sounds awkward trying to be all cute and quirky like Timmy, watching him try and fail to capture Timmy's personality is painful. Lucas could pull it off so much more naturally. I feel like the only reason Nick cast Drake Bell as Timmy was because he had brown hair. Pathetic.

Don't answer to Twinkle Toes, it's not manly!

True, but at the time he didn't really have contract with Nick yet.

Also, if Justin Long was 10 years younger, he could had played Timmy Turner. He played a unlucky and average guy in Dodgeball. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=NXvB80gjr6Q but he wasn't in contract with Nick. On the other hand, it might be a blessing in disguise.

Another guy who could had portrayed Timmy is humorist Steven Crowder and like Butch Hartman, he's a native from Detroit but he was raised in Montreal. But he wasn't in contract with Nick either...

And instead of a old van, how about a 1972 Ford Gran Torino or a 1970 Chevrolet Chevelle 2-door hardtop (the regular one, not the SS-454 like Wooderson drived in "Dazed and Confused") or even a old Land Rover like the one from the South African movie "The Gods Must be Crazy"? http://youtu.be/lnU2DY9TRDs
