About the SPOILER! 10 Reasons the Trailer LIES!

That is the biggest letdown. The trailer makes it look like 1 of 10 horrific things:

I mean who gives a *beep* that some dudes uses his girlfriend as a meatshield and gets all butthurt cause he acted like a pussy. Sounds not only unrealistic as *beep* but in REAL wild areas the movie takes place in, they'd have been killed flat-out, regardless of someone using someone else as a shield. That said- I was thinking of one of the following ten things from seeing the trailer.

1. She kills her boyfriend after going crazy
2. She kills her boyfriend and eats him
3. She goes nuts after being exposed to nature / connecting with nature
4. They both get killed by their tour guide
5. The tour guide kills him and rapes her
6. The tour guide rapes them both
7. The girl goes crazy and kills and/or eats them both
8. She commits suicide
9. She cheats on him with the tour guide
10. They both get raped by the tour guide

You forgot number eleven: They rape, kill, and eat each other...at the same time.

Stuff like this reminds me of "Movie Poop Shoot.com" from Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back.

The trailer lays this movie out in an entirely different direction. I was also expecting something totally different. I love Gael Garcia, but oy vey this movie was booorrring!

Hell yea, they are 10 reasons to rate this bomb a 1/10. I could not believe I got roped in for over 100 minutes on a bullsh!t premise!

Yeah, why wasn't this like every other American horror movie made? Where were the explosions? There deifinately should have been an explosion on the mountain at the end of the movie...

Seriously, I thought it was a great movie. Great acting by the main three. Above all, it was subtle (something the average movie goer in the US is not so familiar with).

That OP really likes raping in a movie...

Calm down there chico. You said it in THREE instances: 5 (The tour guide kills him and rapes her), 6 (The tour guide rapes them both) and 10 (They both get raped by the tour guide). That's a whole lot of raping (by the tour guide).
