Love it. Brilliant script.

So well written. I never knew all of this stuff before, hope there is another series.

Disclaimer -- I actually really like this series. It was magnificent to spend twelve hours with Thomas Andrews and Lord Pirrie.

BUT... don't take it as the God's honest truth.

The writers made up a lot of stuff and planted many incorrect ideas about bad steel, bad rivets, etc. to justify Mark's role in the story, and moved a lot of other incidents in the building process around. Olympic actually left the yard to go to Southampton and prepare for her maiden voyage the same day Titanic left her slip to be fitted out, yet they have Olympic sailing while Titanic is still in the riveting process! Etc. It barely skims the surface of the facts, while telling a good story -- it's entertaining but wildly inaccurate.

Unfortunately, there will be no season two. It was publicly announced shortly after the first season ended. I'm bummed since I wanted to see the sinking / aftermath with Pirrie (he was devastated but handled the situation extremely well and kept H&W afloat for many years after that -- Margaret, his wife, temporarily took over as Chairman after his death), but also relieved because with the majority of the cast on Titanic, it's likely only one or two would survive -- and I hate to think of Michael's death.
