Blood and Sand, Blood and Chrome, Blood and Steel

Seriously, get an original title.

Spartacus: Blood and Sand: The first to use the "Blood and..." subtitle. And there's a good reason for that -- it follows the capture and enslavement of Spartacus, his training in the gladiatorial ludus of Batiatus, and his fights in the arena. Lots of blood, lots of sand.

Battlestar Galactica: Blood and Chrome: While this movie/pilot isn't very bloody, the title refers to the Cylons, aka skinjobs, who are machines made flesh. Appropriate, yeah? Not very original, but at least the subtitle makes sense in the context of the narrative and the show's universe.

Titanic: Blood and Steel: Dumb, derivative, boring. The actual building of the Titanic just isn't that interesting, especially as it's portrayed here, with a bunch of dirty rioting Irishmen and a gross, 40-year-old Neve Campbell in her first role in three years.

You think a woman is "gross" just because she's not in her youth anymore? What a disgusting, backwards, misogynistic attitude. I can't believe this post was never deleted by the mods.
