THAT'S what got homophobes all upset?

So I just got around to watching the show (was never interested in the original show when it aired, recently gave it a shot and loved the whole series, so watched Korra and loved it) and I remember there being a big to-do from homophobes claiming this show pushed an lgbt agenda by showing korra in a same-sex relationship, and I was wondering what it was exactly that got their panties in a bunch. Then I finally see what it was at the very end: Korra and Asami holding hands then facing each other! That's it! There was no hint of them hooking up, Korra was just guiding her to the spirit world.
God homophobes will complain about just about anything. Right after a heterosexual wedding which was just after a huge battle where many people were brutally killed heaven forbid two girls hold hands! Kids can't handle that.

Yeah. That was pretty much it. It doesn't really take much to set them off. Especially when it comes to the poor children. Won't somebody please think of the children?!

It's pretty sad it got anyone in a tizzy. A kid wouldn't take anything bad away from that last scene, and even an adult may not be totally sure what they're trying to say.

Honestly, as a lesbian myself, I had the opposite problem. I've always felt good writing shouldn't be sacrificed for progressive brownie points and would have liked to see Korra and Asami's relationship fully developed.

You should also petition on their Facebook, Twitter, other social media sites and could also start a new petition with a different website as well just to make sure they get it.
