Running out of ideas for TV shows?

Has it come to the point that even the novelty acts are getting remakes of their own? (this show coming off the style of Bear Grylls, survivorman, etc).

Hope G.I. Joe and British Barbie don't see another season; there's nothing this show provides that other "survival" shows don't.

Discovery Channel, stop with the schlock and please produce something new that is truly intriguing and different.

Enough is never a good thing,in hollywood. I disagree about les stroud being a "novelty" act.His show started in 2003 in Canada,and unlike the others there isn't a page before each show that says he receives help as do the others.

Sorry but Les Stroud is the best. He has a new show that premiered last week.

He doesn't receive help as per health dept,like the others.Also situations like the dead lamb Bear ate the eye out of was a setup.

we actually do have a second season and there is lots we teach that the others don't, as well, i have been doing this professionally since 1994 and personally since 1980.... yeah, maybe we know a thing or two, but obviously less than some of these warrior bloggers.... also, for the les fan, whom we love and respect, too, there are others way before him. it is not a matter of if it's been done, it's about reaching folks, should there only be one teacher on any subject? whew, some folks lose their commons sense when their fingers start peckin'.... anyway, thank you for your reason and support, hooyah!

Survivorman is a fraud. I caught him in so many fake stuff and phony scenes. Bear is exciting at least. This new show here is pathetic.
