I suspect Episode 29 (1-20-12) was the final episode...

The reason I say this is Mykel's narration/voiceover at the end of the show, where he talks about how far his wife has come during these adventures, how he wasn't sure she could make it in the beginning, but that she's proven him wrong time and again and he's comfortable she could survive on her own if she had to, now, etc. (and this brief -- maybe a minute, or less -- voiceover runs while they show clips of the couple from previous shows.

Also, the show isn't scheduled for next week, so I'm guessing at the very least this was the end of this season. Frankly, I didn't expect a third season, and was kind of surprised when it came back for one. But I'm thinking they've just about exhausted the number and variety of different scenarios they can present for this type of show, and she may want to get back to spending more time as mom, or at least less time freezing/going hungry/thirsty for a TV show.

I'm not certain how well "One-Man Army" did. I sort of enjoyed it, although that was pretty much in spite of Mykel Hawke, who I thought came off as pretty arrogant on that show. I mention this simply because if it's not renewed, and they've finished this show, he's out of a job. But who knows, maybe they've been saving their pennies?

My guess is that Myke could probably get any of a number of jobs as a security consultant or trainer, having been a Captain in the Airborne Rangers, so I doubt money is a worry for them. But once you're "famous" on TV, the allure of that may be hard to give up.

Also in Mykel's voice over at the end he says, "My mission is complete!" Which alludes to his statement in the beginning voiceover of every episode, "My next mission may be my toughest."

Certainly sounds like a hint that this was the last episode of the series.

I would tend to agree, but if it was definite I would have thought he would have been more direct about saying so.

Even Les Stroud admitted that you can only do this type of thing to your body so many times.

People come on these boards and act like these people aren't in physical danger because they have safety crews as backups, but they are still doing things to their bodies that aren't the most healthy.

And it's not like wifey has had a lot of background in this, it has to be a strain on her, as it would be on an amateur male.

He did say something like it in the last episode of the first season too, didn't stop them from doing another season.

Yeah, it's over. Mike said on Facebook that it wasn't renewed.

he was not a captain in the RANGERS, he was a captain of a unit in special forces, he did not attend ranger school or he would have the black and gold ranger tab on his left sleeve on his class A's that is shown at the beginning of his show, i dont think he has to worry to much about money, he is a consultant several different shows in england and also has his own survival school which he teaches, i also think his school teaches special forces recruits in the art of survival, hes a pretty busy guy, sucks if man woman wild isnt comming back, really liked that show, i guess it is man vs wild and dual survivor now
