My first Bollywood film

I've been wanting to dive into the world of Bollywood for some time now and picked this one to be my first. I read that the sequel was a huge blockbuster and didn't want to watch it before seeing this one. It was very different from other films I'm used to both in a delightful but also disappointing way. The dialogs are bizarre, the way the characters interact with each other is very odd to me. It's a different culture naturally which causes understandable confusion at times, but basically I found the dialogs to be very badly written and fake. A lot is lost in translation sure but this much? I hope I just happened to pick a bad first film and that the next Bollywood production I see will be a much more positive experience. I rated it 3/10.
