Agree 100%. They seem to go by the current challenge instead of body of work. Nathan doesn't know how to cook rice or dice a tomato correctly, yet Terry made a picture perfect blueberry pie.
Unfortunately, and this is why it's likely the last season I watch, they're more interested in drama than cooking. Terry is considered "boring." He was there to cook, improve on his skill set, and hopefully win the prize. Nathan is awkward, annoying and has no shot at actually winning. He's still there because he's very divisive when it comes to the viewers. Sad old lonely cat ladies love him because he's child-like, asexual, and non-threatening. The rest of us can't stand him.
