Think i missed something. What is the naturalist trying to catch with the snares? Trying to catch bears for collaring?

That made NO SENSE AT ALL and was never explained, this film is idiotic. She was supposed to be a nature photographer and biologist, not a trapper.

I think she was supposed to use the snares in order to catch the animals she puts the radio collars on.

She was a deaf person doing a job she should've never been allowed to. She like a blind guy that's a beat cop.
