reply

2:30 show in Toronto. About 30 people. Suprisingly, not one trailer. The commercials, of course, but no trailers.

reply

Really, no trailers? When I saw the Dark Knight Returns this summer, there was almost 2 dozen trailers before the movie.

reply

The trailer for World WarZ was showing and the couple in front of me said, "too violent"....and I felt the same way.

I think these blow-em up apocalypse type movies are on their way out. Surprised that Brad Pitt is starring.

Anyway the Guilt trip was a pleasant surprise. The two stars had great chemistry.

Matinee had about 10
Audience over 40 yo

1 PM show, about 3/4 full, trailers for Silver Linings, and a couple of very violent films. Audience enjoyed the film. Postive comments and smiling faces as we left the theatre.

4pm today, Saturday. Theater was about 75% full and people were laughing pretty hard.
I really like it and so did most of the other people in the theater. I almost clapped at the
end actually. I like the brand of humor, and I liked the story. I'd like to see Barb get
some kind of award.

3:00 p.m. Saturday, theatre 70% full, audience mostly +40. Some laughter at the beginning. Trailers were rather odd I thought - World War Z, Star Trek Into Darkness, and Promised Land.

reply

Saw it last night. The theater was packed, and people laughed and enjoyed it. I was surprised to see lots of commercials for new television episodes, but only one movie trailer, it was Silver lining Playbook.

reply

Saw it today (Friday at 2:45). There were maybe 25 people in the theater. Trailers were World War Z, Beautiful Creatures, Star Trek, Identity Theft, and a couple T.V. shows.

reply

Sunday 7pm, 1/3 full, we went out of the city into a smaller own though.
Different kind of people.
GI Joe Retaliation, Identity theft, Star Trek and something about a Zombie turning back to a human, forgot the name.

4 PM show in Seekonk, MA. About fifty people in the theater - a more mature crowd of 40+ years old (I'm 49, my friend 51).

Beautiful Creatures, Star Trek, World War Z, Disney's OZ (I thought the title was 'Great and Powerful OZ' from what I read on-line), Identity Theft.

PBS' "Dowton Abbey 3", and NBC networks (NBC, MSNBC, CNBC, etc)
