Th best tv movie

Despite the very small budget, I really enjoyed watching this tv movie, it beats hundreds of cinematic movies by far..

Yes there are gaps in the story, especially towards the end of the movie, a couple of characters were annoying as hell, like the smart chick for example, yes the security of every place they went to was almost non existent despite being in a high tech age and all of that.. But at the end, what made this movie great for me is a few important things that regular viewers don't even notice, the director did everything he could to make the best out of the budget he was given, I really applaud him for that and the camera men, the cast was perfectly chosen and that includes the annoying chick which annoyed me as hell but that means she did her part very well, CGI wasn't great but it wasn't as bad as lets say "V" for example which had 1 of the most laughable CGI I've ever seen in the last 10 years, writing was good and I had a couple of laughs which is always nice, but that doesn't mean it was perfect, there were a couple of phrases I didn't like.. I liked the characters, especially Leo and his uncle, that guy who played Leo was just perfect!

Seriously, give them some credit, their budget was minimal but this movie turned to be pretty good compared to a thousand others.

If there is 1 movie I have to name that didn't deserve sh!t but still had it all, it would be the hurt locker, I saw it long time ago so I don't really remember the notes I had of it beside swearing that I will never watch that POS of a movie again. Some1 wrote the script while they were on the toilet smoking weed, then a director peed on it while drunk, then the cast manager mixed the dried pee with heroin and snorted it before choosing the cast, that's all I can say about The Hurt locker.

Sorry for bitching about the hurt locker here, I just found it to be a perfect chance to get it off my chest.

I hope this is telling of the direction SyFy channel goes with regards to movies. The quality was much higher than other movies they usually have. There is always going to be a place for campy movies on SyFy and budgets will never be large but hopefully the quality of cast and presentation will remain as high as this one.

If this is better than average Syfy quality, then where was it before? The *beep* and piss septic plant?

I feel for you ...well not really
I agree that nearly every SyFy channel film is total crud, but not this one,its actually quite a good film..

Yeah... As when compared to all of the turds in the septic plant, it's more of a turd in the septic *tank* in the backyard. It hits close to home :) That's about it. I could do better with GI Joes...

i hated the shaky cam in the beginning but as i watched more the industrial setting/props were just right, then a family reunited and father chose to sacrifice himself made me dropped a few tears.

You must lead a very sad life to put this movie above something like the Hurt Locker.

If you want to b**ch about the Hurt Locker then go to that IMDB page and do it there.

All you are doing now is sounding like a pathetic little girl.

Trying to talk up crap like this movie makes me wonder if you have a few screws loose.

I thought this movie was pretty impressive for a SyFy channel movie. I don't know what their budget was, but I know it was made in Eastern Europe because as the credits rolled you can see that a lot of the creative team had Slavic names - they know how to use their budget and get creative, talented folks to come up with great CGI. The dialogue was pretty good too, not great, and I can tell it was edited so that the movie wouldn't be too long.
