Telling Tales
In the episode Telling Tales what did Joe say about Vera's father that made her so angry at him? It involved the names of his grandsons but I either didn't catch it or didn't get the reference.
Can anyone help?
Their names were Alan and Kevin. Joe said something about Vera's Dad being a fan of some football team, I didn't catch which one. But apparently he chose the names of a couple of footballers for his imaginary grandsons.
None of this was in the book. In fact, the TV version is quite different from the book.
Newcastle United.... Alan (Shearer) and Kevin (Keegan).
