shareI couldn't disagree more. She's very intelligent and works hard every moment. Such a demanding job she has. She's phenomenal. But many are used to glamour girls in 4" heels, tight clothes working murders on other shows.

Police work is not glamorous, it is mostly hard slog.
Vera is excellent! Love her so much :-)
shareI agree with you. It is very frustrating to watch Vera. She is unkempt, frustrated, and overly emotional. I guess that is to be expected in the character because she has no life outside of work. I watched three episodes in a row on Acorn TV, and had to stop. I'm not sure I will watch any more because the show and the lead characters have such depressing lives, that it makes me sad. Too many dark characters.
