A friend told me that this was going to be the first Disney movie with an openly gay character (Dusty the Dustcropper). I can't find any source but he said it was revealed at Comic Con. Anyone hear any rumours about this???

Maybe Dusty's propeller spins in the other direction. If that was the case, Ripslinger must "go both ways." I assume he has contra-rotating propellers. <jokes>

shareOh dear, I did giggle but I will add this to this gay old discussion;
My brother went with me to see it ( he's usually a Snarky, anti-Disney dude but he enjoyed it actually), there's a scene where Dusty talks to Ishani and El Chupacabra, listening in, is surprised by his smooth moves. My brother took his " Oooh, Dusty..." to be a 'lusty' mutter rather than an intrigued one xD!
Dusty can be gay if he wants; seems like he just remains friends with Ishani ( after her almost getting him killed, rightly so.
I don't know but it seems very pointless to have a gay character. What's he going to do without making it seem awkward? Highly doubt it's true.
