Eerie vibe to the movie

It was a very atmospheric film despite the groundhog day plot. The vibe running through it was one of death and hopelessness. The colors and tones used in the film and the foggy atmosphere of the north pacific backed up the feeling. It gave me such an intense feeling of grief that I can not even explain.

Actually i thought they could have used the setting even better and make it even more dreary and depressing.

I thought it looked beautiful. Reminded me of the Ring. I think partly that was one of my top reasons for liking the Ring.
