Laughed a bit but...

I think Wiseau was trying way too hard to be bad. It felt like a bad parody of The Room. Like if Wiseau intentionally wrote some lines to become the new "You're tearing me apart, Lisa!" or "Oh hai Mark!". The Room was so bad it was good. This was so bad it was... meh... Not bad, it was kind of funny, like when Tommy arrives with blood all over him and nobody seems to notice it. But I think Wiseau has made enough bad movies now. I would love to see him try to actually make something good. He may pull it off!

I've heard it from some people too, but where did you get your information? IMDb and FlickChart are still reporting he's the director and writer and he presented it at a certain conference like he was the one who actually wrote and directed it. I just want to be sure it's not just a hoax.

He's only funny when he tries to be serious. It's too bad that he's in on the joke now because we'll never see another gem like "The Room".

Imdb doesn't claim that. The people behind it are Brock LaBorde and Jared Richard.

Agreed, Tommy was trying to act as ''retarded'' as possible. Even adding similar room-like phrases like ''quack quack quack'' (similar to cheep cheep cheep). It just didn't work lol.
