Shaky Camera Work

This movie also has a lot of shaky camera work, did anyone else notice this?
Especially when Fred and Mindy are at her family's apartment.

What I noticed is that during normal shots that should have been on a tripod, there seems to be some kind of small/slight jitter back and forth... its very slight, but it is annoying.

I work in video production and can not understand what caused this?

Any ideas?

Low budget?

Time constraints?

Trying to look "indie and hip" with shaky camera movement?

I would imagine it's one of those 3.

Go watch Twilight then. High quality movies tend to use Cinema Verte to make you feel like you're a part of the movie.
