Terrible -- and THOSE accents ugh!
I can not even believe i brought myself to watch an hour of this!
I could go on and on, but here are the major flaws!
A/ Every nazi soldier / ss etc are fat and bald and look about 60 years old!
B/ The hairstyles (many of the males even have blond highlights) are absolutly nothing like that era, and makes it virtually impossible to imagine your watching an enactment of something from the second world war!
C/ The fact that it takes less than a few minutes to get to the love angle part (hes sitting on a bench in a field after ruinning away from the nazis earlier and coincidently finds his `love there`) - makes it clear that this is more a soap drama than anything!
D/ The accents - holy crap! Almost every resistance fighter has a soft spoken university accent. and whilst the issue isnt really a case of english accents being the problem, as my favourite movie of all time escapre from sobibor, most of the jews spoke with an english accent, but my point is, the tone, the acting, the accents are just so bad here that once again its impossible to even imagine your watching nothing less than a youtube video.
E/ The setting. Well, it seems that if they want to make somewhere look like nazi occupied territory, they simply throw a swastika here and there.
It doesnt look like old buildings/ furniture etc, everywhere looks modern except for cheap red swastika posters here and there!
F/ The plot -- whilst i didnt watch until the end it had bored me to sleep!
I am not normally a bitchy person about movies, but this was just so bad!
