friction between jael and chi-lan?

does anybody else feel that? like chi-lan always disses jael cases when she is talking, and when chi-lan is talking, jael is making faces at her

reply

maybe that's why they never go on the same case

Let's focus an entire ep on this, to see if their friction is fact or fiction.

I think that those beginning scenes where they decide which video to investigate is probably scripted.

I doubt each cast member would try to find their own videos on youtube. They probably have a behind-the-scenes research team who searches for the videos and then it would be already decided which ones will be used.

The whole showing the video and then instantly debunking it, is just meant as filler.

reply

I can sense the tension between the two.

I think they should settle the feud by seeing who can wear the tightest
pants on missions.

P.S. try to stay away from missions at night

Well, in any situation where there are two girls and lots of guys, there's always going to be some competition between the girls for who is the most respected, & who's considered the hottest.

Jael seems super intense and ambitious, so I am sure she feels the most competitive of the two.

You have got to be kidding. Seriously.

I'm not kidding. Seriously.

I genuinely feel bad for you.

I feel bad for you for being so oblivious to reality

reply

is this coming from a guy or a girl? it's funny, because you seem to be the one that's truly oblivious.

there is lots of stupid competition between women. I'm a guy, and I see it all the time with my sister, cousins, and girlfriends. they all talk about it like it's the end of the world if they lose this invisible competition.

reply

Actually I've seen several episodes where they address each other (normally at the start and at the end as they are always on separate teams) and they often support each other's findings/observations, so I don't see any tension there - the producers no doubt keep the two separate on cases in order to have one good looking girl on each team (to keep the less paranormally-oriented male viewers interested).

One thing I've noticed about Jael is that when she's in a neutral mood she tends to have this intense look about her, almost like she's p*ssed off, but it's just the way she looks when she's not engaged in something.

reply

wow izzardcrazed you cant be a woman thats for sure.

do you not know any women??

reply

Chi-Lan was replaced with Lanisha at some point after this thread was started. Maybe it was due to the aforementioned friction.

Well, when two girls are together and there's an abundance of guys around, the two girls will be in fierce competition with each other to see who is hottest and who gets asked out first and gets married first too!

reply

I can see that. I am a woman and prefer working with men, women get caught up in petty junk that has nothing to do with the job.

One thing about this show that drives me nuts is they feel the need to say "creepy" about ten times a show. They also overreact when something supposedly happens.
