Reminiscent of Michael Crichton's 'Sphere'

I know Sphere wasn't the first movie to use this idea either, that's not what I'm saying. It's just cool to see a film reminiscent of Crichton's novel where people in a research facility are besieged by monsters which turn out to be generated by their imagination.

Now that you mention it, it was very similar. I forgot about that film.

I actually think Sphere handled it better and was a bit more "mature" in dealing with the concept of bringing fears and dreams to life.

This film had a lot of promise but fell flat with its inconsistencies.
