Now, I am STRICTLY going by the description on the Comcast info, but the way I read it it, it seems to NOT be based on Mary Phipher book. The book is...so powerful. All girls need to read it. However, the book is not about just two families. I don't know, it's odd they said "based"...

Pipher's book was debunked in "The War Against Boys" by Christina Hoff Sommers. I wonder how Pipher reacted-if she did-to Sommers' book.
