The acting is painfully bad!

The only one of the kids who can act is Kelly, who looks a lot like Holly J from Degrassi lol.

The guy who played Mark was such a bad actor. The only thing that was believable about him was that he had eyes that showed a lot of emotion. When he was mad, it really showed through his eyes.

I thought that the Kelly girl looked like that girl from Degrassi to, I wonder if they are related.

Yep, I agree. You've got the mom, dad, cousin and aunt acting their butt off and when it comes to Mark and Liz, its sub par. Well, they are new and just starting out...

I thought the actress that played Kelly did very well, and that the actress that played Elizabeth was respectable. Especially for a newbie.

The actor that played Mark wasn't very good, although I agree with the poster that says his eyes really showed emotion. Whether it be anger, sadness...he did well with that.

The acting in this movie wasn't great but it wasn't horrible either. The guy who played Mark definitely shows good emotional acting and I think he is the type of the actor that can improve. The girl who played Kelly was the best out of the teen characters. Jane Kaczmerak and Kim Dickens acted pretty well in this movie. The last 10 minutes of the movie were bad but overall this movie is pretty decent. I would rather watch these kinds of Lifetime movies than the ultra-cheesy movies that the Hallmark Channel makes.

Good call there. Those movies are so irritatingly sweet, and have almost zero believability.
The Lifetime movies may be melodramatic, but (unfortunately) the characters are usually believable.

what do you expect. it's a lifetime movie. Most lifetime movies are badly acted..not all, but most. im watching it right now...never seen it, but it's good enough for me to keep watching to see what happens lol

I just watched part of the film again, and I must add that Kelly's mom acts rather woodenly sometimes too. She'll act OK then revert to sounding wooden. How bizarre.

I thought that Elizabeth and Mark were the only ones who had bad performances. And I thought that Kelly was phenomenal.
